The Vieil Armagnac Delord Vintage Récolte 1995, 40% vol., 0.7 l, presented in a wooden box, is a fine, single-vintage Armagnac from the long-established Maison Delord, which has been producing fine eaux-de-vie since 1893 in the heart of Gascony, in Lannepax (Gers), has been producing fine eaux-de-vie. This 1995 vintage reflects more than 120 years of craftsmanship and the unrivalled experience of a family that has passed down the art of distillation and ageing from generation to generation.


The Delord Récolte 1995 was carefully distilled in copper stills and then aged for decades in French oak casks, where it developed its characteristic amber colour, depth and aromatic complexity. The long cask maturation under ideal conditions gives it a remarkable harmony of wood, fruit and spice – a reflection of the rich heritage that is preserved with the utmost care at Delord. Some of the family’s oldest spirits still rest today in the distillery’s legendary ‘Paradis’ – a symbol of the heart and soul of this extraordinary craft.

Tasting Note

Colour: Deep amber with coppery highlights.

Nose: Expressive, with notes of dried fruit, plums, vanilla, caramel and subtle woody nuances.

Palate: Full-bodied, elegant and smooth, with flavours of figs, nuts, vanilla, tobacco and subtle oak spice.

Finish: Long-lasting, warm and harmonious with a sweet, spicy aftertaste and a hint of honey and cocoa.
