Weinhof Deutsch is an Austrian winery situated in the Vulkanland region, more specifically in the district of Weiz. It is run by the Deutsch family and is renowned for its high-quality wines, particularly its Sauvignon Blancs and Morillons. The freshness, lively acidity and mineral notes are characteristic of these wines, which are shaped by the region’s limestone soils. Great importance is placed on sustainability, so only environmentally friendly cultivation methods are used to protect the soil and the environment. Deutsch Zweigelt Klassik is a quality red wine from the Austrian wine-growing region of Southern Styria. It is made from the indigenous Zweigelt grape and matured in stainless-steel tanks to preserve the wine’s fruitiness and vibrancy. Once matured, it is bottled and sealed with a screw cap.

Tasting Note

Dark red in the glass. On the nose, it is particularly fruity, with notes of ripe cherries. On the palate, it is slightly spicy and fruity, accompanied by a pleasant tannic structure. The finish is long-lasting.

This red wine pairs perfectly with lasagne and prosciutto.
