The Clos de los Siete winery is located in Mendoza, a province in the west of Argentina, and is one of the most renowned wineries in the country.

Mendoza is known worldwide for its high-quality wine-growing regions, which are predestined for the production of some of Argentina's best wines.

The region benefits from a dry, sunny climate as well as soils that are low in acidity and rich in limestone, creating ideal conditions for the cultivation of red wine varieties. The vines are irrigated all year round with glacier water.

Clos de los Siete cultivates a total of around 850 hectares of vineyards and focusses on the Merlot, Syrah, Petit Verdot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Malbec grape varieties. The winery's wines are sealed with natural corks.

Tasting Note

Purple-red in colour with a slightly brightening rim in the glass. Black berries, cassis, fine caramel and floral notes on the nose. On the palate, fruity flavours of blackberries and ripe raspberries, baked bread and dark chocolate. Fresh, full-bodied and refined on the finish.

It harmonises very well with all kinds of dishes.
