Glen Breton Rare 10 Years Old – Canada’s First Single Malt Whisky, 43% ABV, 0.75 l + GB – is a remarkable whisky from Canada that made history as the first officially recognised Canadian single malt. It is produced at the Glenora Distillery in Nova Scotia, a distillery which, since its foundation in the 1980s, has worked in the Scottish tradition whilst developing a distinctively Canadian character. The distillery is situated in the heart of the Cape Breton Peninsula and uses crystal-clear spring water from the surrounding Highlands, which underlines the whisky’s exceptional purity.
The Glen Breton Rare 10 Years Old matures for over a decade in selected American oak casks. This allows it to develop a balanced profile with notes of vanilla and honey, fruity nuances and an elegant, mellow character. At 43% ABV, it is pleasantly approachable, yet complex enough to delight even seasoned whisky connoisseurs. It is presented in an elegant gift box (UK), which also makes it a visual highlight.
