Minttu Peppermint Original Liqueur 40% ABV 0.5l online kaufen

Minttu Peppermint Original Liqueur 40% ABV 0.5 l is a legendary peppermint liqueur from Finland, renowned for its crisp, intense mint flavour and exceptional freshness. Made from high-quality spirit, natural peppermint flavouring and crystal-clear water from Finland, this liqueur embodies the purity and freshness of the North.

With an alcohol content of 40% vol., Minttu Peppermint is robust, yet pleasantly smooth and harmonious on the palate. Its clear, pure colour emphasises its minimalist character. Originally developed in the 1980s, Minttu has now achieved cult status in Scandinavia – it is particularly popular as an ice-cold shot or in creative cocktails.

Thanks to its intense minty flavour, it is ideal both for enjoying neat and as an ingredient in drinks and desserts. Its name, ‘Minttu’, is the Finnish word for ‘mint’ and thus perfectly describes its distinctive flavour profile.

Tasting Note

Colour: Crystal clear.

Nose: Fresh and intense, with notes of pure peppermint.

Palate: Full-bodied and refreshing with a dominant minty note, slightly sweet and well-structured.

Minttu Peppermint Original is traditionally served ice-cold or straight from the freezer as a shot. It also makes an excellent base for drinks such as Minttu Hot Chocolate (with hot chocolate) or Minttu Coffee. In dessert making, it adds a fresh minty note to ice cream, chocolate mousse or brownies. It is also highly versatile as a special ingredient in winter cocktails or as a ‘cooler’ in summer.
