The Weingut Eiteljörg stretches along the sunny slopes at the foot of the Kulm, with rich soils, and is situated directly on the Styrian Apple Route in Puch bei Weiz. Michael Eiteljörg and Christina Macher are not the only ones behind the Weingut Eiteljörg. Three generations of hard-working hands labour day in, day out to produce the finest wine for their customers. In 2009, Michael took over his parents’ fruit-growing business and, joining forces, he and Christina have modernised the family business to lead it successfully into the future. Together, they have turned the winery into a place where quality, craftsmanship and hospitality take centre stage.

Eiteljörg Muscaris Steiermark is a single-varietal Muscaris wine that showcases the fresh and aromatic diversity of this special grape variety. The grapes are carefully harvested and gently processed. Following traditional ageing in stainless-steel tanks, the wine is bottled directly and sealed with a screw cap to best preserve its freshness and fruitiness.

Tasting Note

A pale golden-yellow colour in the glass. Fresh on the nose and on the palate, with notes of herbal spice, elderflower and nutmeg. A long-lasting finish.

Residual sugar: 3.9 g/l

Serving temperature: 8–10 °C

This wine is an ideal summer wine, perfect as an aperitif. Its fruity freshness makes it a perfect accompaniment to light starters, summer salads, Asian dishes or mild soft cheeses. It also pairs excellently with asparagus or fish dishes.
