Eichenwald HORIZZANTE Blanc de Noirs is an exceptional sparkling wine made from 100 per cent Blaufränkisch grapes. This ‘white’ sparkling wine made from red grapes impressively demonstrates just how versatile and full of character this grape variety can be, even in the production of sparkling wines. The grapes are gently pressed so that only the clear must is extracted. This is then fermented at a controlled temperature to preserve the aromas and create the foundation for this elegant and lively sparkling wine.

Tasting Note

A pale gold colour with a fine effervescence in the glass. On the nose, a bouquet of green apples, ripe pears, redcurrants and a hint of citrus unfolds, giving the wine a fresh and fruity character. Lively and fresh on the palate, with fruity flavours from the Blaufränkisch grapes. A long-lasting finish.

Eichenwald HORIZZANTE Blanc de Noirs is an excellent aperitif and pairs superbly with fresh seafood, light dishes such as salads or smoked salmon.
