The Eichenwald Winery is situated in Horitschon, one of the most renowned wine-growing communities in the Austrian province of Burgenland, which is famous for its outstanding wines. The Eichenwald HORIZZANTE Muskateller is a lively and aromatic sparkling wine made from 100 per cent ripe Muskateller grapes. These grapes are characterised by their intense fruitiness and floral aromas, which make the wine a particularly lively and refreshing experience. The base wine is matured in stainless steel tanks, which gives it a clear structure and wonderful freshness.

With an alcohol content of 11.5% vol. and a fine effervescence, this Muskateller is a true delight, captivating with its harmonious balance of fruit and subtle residual sweetness.

Tasting Note

A bright, luminous yellow with a fine effervescence in the glass. On the nose, a seductive bouquet of elderflower, citrus fruits and hints of grapefruit, pineapple and nectarines unfolds. On the palate, the wine reveals fresh fruit and a hint of exotic notes, whilst a subtle herbal note and good body further refine the wine. The beautifully integrated residual sweetness and fine effervescence ensure a long finish that remains pleasant and refreshing.
