Eichenwald Der Traubendieb Blaufränkisch 2022 is an expressive and versatile red wine which, thanks to its ageing in stainless steel tanks and large wooden casks, achieves a harmonious balance between fruit and structure. The wine is both powerful and elegant. The fine tannins provide a pleasant texture, making the wine particularly enjoyable to drink.

Tasting Note

A deep, youthful red colour in the glass. On the nose, intense aromas of fresh blueberries and blackberries, complemented by subtle spicy notes. On the palate, full-bodied and well-structured, with a balanced texture that gently integrates the flavours. A long-lasting finish.

Residual sugar: 3.5 g/l

Serving temperature: 16–18 °C

The ‘Traubendieb’ pairs superbly with grilled meat, game dishes or mature cheeses such as Comté or Gouda. It is also an excellent choice with hearty stews or beef.
