Tasting Note

A deep red colour in the glass. On the nose, an intense bouquet of cocoa, blackberries, cassis and smoky, toasty notes. Harmonious on the palate with flavours of dark chocolate and fresh sour cherries. A long-lasting and powerful finish.

Serving temperature: 16–18 °C

This Blaufränkisch pairs superbly with roast lamb, game dishes or braised beef. It also goes down a treat with mature hard cheeses such as Comté or Parmesan.
