This elaborate ageing method involves blending different vintages to create a multi-layered and complex rum. For the Ron Cueva 1501, rum varieties aged for up to 25 years were used. It takes its name from the year 1501, which is regarded as the beginning of the discovery of Panama – a symbol of origin, tradition and exclusivity. Matured in selected oak casks, Ron Cueva 1501 Solera 25 acquires its dark amber colour, its subtle woody notes and the balanced harmony between sweetness and spice.
