Ron Cueva 1501 Panama 8 Sistema Solera Rum is an exquisite rum which, thanks to its 8 years’ ageing in carefully selected casks, develops a balanced and complex bouquet. With an alcohol content of 40% vol. and bottled in an elegant 0.7-litre bottle, this rum offers the excellent quality and depth typical of the Solera method. This Ron Cueva is a blend of the finest rums, which are aged in special casks for up to 8 years, resulting in a medium-bodied rum that displays both nutty notes and a pleasant spiciness. The ageing process also brings out gentle notes of vanilla, oak and cinnamon, lending this rum a harmonious sweetness.

The name Cueva 1501 refers to the year 1501, when the first Spanish explorers reached the coasts of what is now Panama. This link to history is reflected in the traditional production process, which gives this rum its unmistakable depth of character.
