The ageing in steel tanks serves to preserve the purity and integrity of the grape character before the wine is sealed with a natural cork.

Tasting Note

In the glass, the Paladin Merlot Veneto presents itself in an intense ruby red colour with violet reflections. The nose reveals aromas of ripe cherries, dark wild berries and a hint of violets. On the palate, it is soft, round and full-bodied with harmoniously integrated tannins. Fine nuances of stewed plums and a delicate hint of spices accompany the long, velvety finish.

The Paladin Merlot Veneto is an excellent accompaniment to pasta with strong sauces, grilled meat or Mediterranean vegetable dishes.
