KONTABAS Smoke is a true meisterwerk of Ukrainian distilling art and was created for lovers of complex flavour profiles. With an alcohol content of 43% vol. and a 0.7 litre bottle, this unique spirit offers an unmistakable taste experience that captivates the senses. The one-year maturation in barrels previously used for peated whiskey gives KONTABAS Smoke its distinctive smoky flavour. This is followed by one month's maturation in new Ukrainian oak barrels, which gives the drink additional complexity and flavour.

The ingredients - purified drinking water, grain-based distillates, blackcurrant buds - provide a special fruitiness and a slightly sweet yet spicy base. Tasting Note

Colour: Deep gold with light amber reflections.

Nose: Smoky oak notes, accompanied by tobacco, dried fruit and a delicate sweetness.

Taste: Complex and full-bodied with smoky flavours, dried figs, tobacco, a light oak spiciness and a subtle fruitiness.

Finish: Langs and warming with a lingering smoky aftertaste and woody notes.

Ideal neat or with a drop of water to develop the complex flavours. Goes perfectly with smoked meat, grilled fish, mature cheese or dark chocolate. It is also an excellent choice as a base for complex whisky-inspired cocktails such as Smoky Old Fashioned or Rum Sour.
