Description
Description
The BEDIN Prosecco Treviso Extra Dry is an elegant sparkling wine from the picturesque Veneto region, more precisely from the traditional area around Treviso. Made from 100% Glera grapes, this Prosecco epitomises everything that Italian sparkling wine stands for: Freshness, lightness and stylish sophistication. The protected designation of origin DOC (Denominazione di Origine Controllata) guarantees the high quality and authenticity of this product.
With an alcohol content of 11% vol., this Prosecco is pleasantly light and very accessible. The renowned Bedin winery, a family-run winery with many years of experience, vinifies this Extra Dry Prosecco with great care using the traditional Charmat method, in which the second fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks. The result is a fine, long-lasting perlage that gives the wine its elegant freshness.
The Extra Dry flavour means that this Prosecco has a fine, slightly sweet note - perfectly balanced and ideal for anyone looking for a fruity but not too sweet taste experience. A sparkling wine that is ideal for everyday enjoyment as well as for festive occasions.
Tasting Note
In the glass, the BEDIN Prosecco Treviso shines in a clear straw yellow colour with silvery-green reflections and a lively, fine perlage. The nose is characterised by fresh aromas of green apple, pear and white peach, accompanied by floral notes such as elderflower and a hint of acacia. On the palate, it is soft, fruity and balanced, with a fine sweetness that perfectly matches the fresh acidity structure. The finish is harmonious, lively and pleasantly persistent.
Residual sugar: 14-17 g/litre
This Prosecco is a versatile companion and is ideal as a stylish aperitif. It goes particularly well with light starters such as bruschetta, carpaccio or seafood. It also reveals its full potential with summer salads, risotto with lemon, asparagus dishes or mild goat's cheese. If you like it sweet, you can also enjoy it with desserts such as panna cotta, lemon tart or fresh berries. It also cuts an excellent figure in cocktails such as the Hugo or Bellini.
