Luna Portum Meteoriten Gin is a particularly distinctive distilled dry gin, whose origins are just as extraordinary as its flavour. It is produced in the Nördlinger Ries, Germany’s largest meteorite crater. This region, significant both geologically and historically, not only provides the inspiration for the product but also its essential ingredients: the wild meteorite juniper that grows here forms the aromatic heart of this Gin.

This region also became famous for its role as a training ground for NASA’s lunar missions, as the geological conditions resemble those of the Moon. This cosmic connection is reflected in the flavour – in the new Luna Portum edition, the successor to the popular Full Moon Edition. Alongside the hand-picked juniper, rare lunar plants with floral-scented blossoms lend the gin a unique aromatic profile. Their essential oils create a gentle, almost velvety mouthfeel that spreads warmly and softly across the palate, accompanied by fresh citrus notes, intense resinous undertones and an elegant bitterness.
