The NC'NEAN Huntress Lemon Meadow Single Malt Scotch Whisky Organic 2025 is an innovative single malt from the young, sustainable distillery NC'NEAN on the west coast of Scotland. Founded with the aim of reinterpreting traditional whisky production in a modern, environmentally friendly way, Nc'nean only produces organic whiskies using renewable energy. With its focus on sustainability, transparency and creative innovation, the distillery clearly stands out from the traditional market.

The Huntress Lemon Meadow 2025 is part of the annual Huntress editions that reflect the distillery's love of experimentation. This bottling combines fresh, floral flavours with a vibrant citrus note that comes from natural fermentation and carefully selected cask maturation. The organic barley used comes from Scotland and is processed particularly gently to preserve the characteristic, light flavours.

The multi-layered maturation is particularly noteworthy: 56% of the whisky is matured in STR red wine casks (Shaved, Toasted, Re-charred), 42% in former American whiskey casks and 2% in Oloroso sherry casks. This balanced combination of casks gives the whisky a complex structure with fruity, vanilla and nutty accents.

With an alcohol content of 48.5% by volume, this whisky is powerful and complex without losing any of its elegance. The elegant gift box emphasises the premium quality of this limited edition bottling and makes it a highlight for collectors and connoisseurs of modern, sustainable whiskies.

Tasting Note

Colour: Pale straw yellow.

Nose: Fresh lemon zest, flowery meadow herbs, light malty sweetness.
