The grapes for this premium sparkling wine come from the finest vineyards in Burgenland. Carefully selected grape varieties are used for the base wine, which were able to develop particular freshness, structure and finesse in a cool vintage such as 2018. The second fermentation takes place traditionally in the bottle, after which the sparkling wine is aged on the lees for at least 24 months, giving it a fine perlage, depth and a creamy texture. With a moderate alcohol content of 11.5 % vol., it remains pleasantly light and approachable, without compromising on character.

Tasting Note

In the glass, the HILL Brut Reserve presents a pale straw-yellow colour with fine, persistent bubbles. The nose is complex, with aromas of green apple, citrus, freshly baked brioche and a hint of hazelnut. On the palate, this sparkling wine is elegant, dry and well-balanced, with a fine effervescence, harmonious acidity and a long, mineral-driven finish. The yeast ageing lends it additional complexity and a creamy depth, without masking its freshness.
