Since 1635, when Andrea Bottega began cultivating vines in the hills near Refrontolo, the Bottega family has continued to develop. After cultivating their own land, Aldo Bottega revolutionised grappa production by introducing the first single-varietal grappa. The Distilleria Bottega, which he founded in 1977, is now located in a renovated 17th century farmhouse in Bibano di Godega di Sant'Urbano, surrounded by 10 hectares of vineyards.

The Vino dei Poeti Prosecco Rosé DOC is a dry sparkling wine made from Glera and Pinot Noir grapes grown in the province of Treviso in north-east Italy. This region is particularly well known for the cultivation of this grape variety. The grapes are cultivated using classic and traditional methods, preserving their quality and typical characteristics over the years.

Tasting Note

In the glass, Bottega Il Vino dei Poeti Prosecco Rosé is a bright pink colour with a fine, persistent perlage. The bouquet reveals intense aromas of red fruits such as strawberries and cherries, complemented by floral notes of peach blossom and a hint of citrus. On the palate, the wine is fresh and lively, with a balanced acidity and a pleasant, fruity finish.

This Prosecco Rosé is ideal as an aperitif and goes equally well with light starters, seafood, sushi, salads and vegetarian dishes. It is also a suitable choice with pizza or grilled poultry. Serve it well chilled at 4-5 °C in a champagne glass to bring out its flavours to the full.
