Almgold Alpenkräuter Liqueur 0.7 l is a traditional Tyrolean speciality that used to be known as Alpengold and is still produced today as Almgold. In terms of content, it is the same product whose character is firmly rooted in Alpine culture. Although popularly known as a hay schnapps, Almgold is by definition an original Tyrolean herbal liqueur that consciously stands between two worlds. The basis for the Almgold Heuschnaps herbal liqueur is a variety of Alpine herbs that grow on a natural Tyrolean alpine meadow at an altitude of 1,810 metres. These are processed according to a secret family recipe that preserves the original character of the mountain world. The rich golden colour is created entirely naturally and without artificial additives. The smell and taste of Almgold is clearly reminiscent of hay, mountain herbs and Alpine landscapes and conveys the feeling of hiking, mountaineering and farm holidays.
