José Cuervo Especial Silver is a classic blanco tequila from Mexico, and is one of the best-known and most popular of its kind worldwide. It is produced by the long-established Casa Cuervo, one of the world’s oldest tequila producers, based in Tequila, Jalisco. Since 1795, this family-run business has been producing high-quality distillates from blue Weber agave, sourced from the region around Tequila. This young, unaged variety is characterised by its clear colour and pure, fresh character.

José Cuervo Especial Silver is what is known as a ‘Mixto’ tequila, meaning that, in addition to agave juice, other sugars are used in the fermentation process – a characteristic typical of many tequilas in this category. With an alcohol content of 35 % vol., it is ideal for use in cocktails and impresses with a pleasantly mild yet distinctive profile.
