The whisky was matured entirely in a classic sherry butt, which has imparted depth, structure and complexity to it over many years. The focus remains firmly on the distinctive character of Glenfarclas, which is complemented by the sherry influence but not overpowered by it. Bottled without chill filtration and without colouring, this Speyside single malt is presented in its natural form. The high alcohol content of 59.3% lends it power and vigour, whilst the long maturation ensures balance and a clearly defined style.
