Lucano Amaro Essenza 34% ABV 0.7l online kaufen

Lucano Amaro Essenza is a premium bitter liqueur from Italy that carries on the rich heritage of the Vena family, founders of the Amaro Lucano brand, in a particularly elegant manner. Since 1894, the name Lucano has been synonymous with fine herbal liqueurs produced in the Basilicata region of southern Italy. Essenza represents a modern and powerful interpretation of the classic Amaro and is aimed at connoisseurs who appreciate complex bitter profiles with depth and character.

Made from over 30 carefully selected herbs, spices, roots and citrus notes, this amaro unfolds a wealth of aromas that are brought out particularly intensely by its higher alcohol content of 34 % vol. The recipe is based on an old family secret, which has been further developed using modern technology and craftsmanship. The result is an intense, complex yet balanced herbal liqueur, characterised by its rounded flavour and depth. The stylish bottle with its elegant label emphasises the high standards of this spirit.

Tasting Note

Colour: Deep dark brown with coppery highlights.

Nose: Complex, with notes of wormwood, dried orange peel, cloves, cinnamon, liquorice and balsamic herbs.

Palate: Full-bodied and harmonious with bittersweet herbs, spicy caramel, roots, a hint of pepper and subtle citrus notes.

Finish: Lang, tart, complex and elegant with a dry finish.

Amaro Essenza is excellent enjoyed neat as a digestif – at room temperature or slightly chilled. It also works well as a flavourful component in classic Amaro cocktails such as the Negroni or Manhattan. It is also an ideal accompaniment to dark chocolate, candied orange peel or strong cheese. For gourmets, it pairs well with grilled meat or savoury antipasti to balance the bitterness on the palate. A fine Italian bitter for discerning moments of indulgence.
