Aura Biska mistletoe schnapps (Croatian: Aura Biska - Rakija od Biske iz Hrvatske) is one of the most traditional and best-known herbal brandies from Croatia. This special mistletoe schnapps is based on a high-quality apple pomace distillate, which is flavoured with hand-picked mistletoe leaves from the trees on the slopes around the Ćićarija region. The recipe dates back over 2000 years and is closely guarded - it is only passed down within the family line.

With an alcohol content of 37.5% vol., Aura Biska combines ancient healing tradition with modern distilling craftsmanship. In addition to mistletoe, four other types of herbs are also used, which in combination create a particularly harmonious and earthy character. This pomace brandy with herbs is not only considered a regional cult product, but also a natural household remedy: it is said to have healing properties against arteriosclerosis and high blood pressure.

Finish: Langs, dry, herbal and slightly warming with an elegant balance.
