Val de Rance Organic Cider is an authentic French apple cider from Brittany, produced exclusively from organically grown apples. It is produced by the long-established cooperative Les Celliers Associés, which has stood for artisanal quality and the preservation of regional cider culture for decades. The careful selection of apples and traditional production methods make this cider a prime example of French craftsmanship in its purest form.

Following an old family recipe, the apples are freshly pressed, spontaneously fermented and bottled without any additives or preservatives. The result is a natural cider with 4 % vol. alcohol, which impresses with both its delicate fruitiness and its elegant balance between sweetness and freshness. The ageing process is particularly gentle, ensuring that the apples’ characteristic flavours are preserved. The cider is bottled with the utmost care using crown caps to preserve its freshness and vibrancy.

Tasting Note

In the glass, this organic cider presents a brilliant golden-yellow colour with natural cloudiness and lively effervescence. On the nose, it reveals aromatic apple notes, accompanied by hints of honey, citrus and subtle yeast nuances. On the palate, the cider is fresh, fruity and slightly tart, with balanced acidity, subtle residual sweetness and a natural, juicy finish typical of French cider.

This cider makes an excellent aperitif and pairs wonderfully with light starters, goat’s cheese, galettes, salads featuring apple, or fish dishes. It also really comes into its own with autumnal dishes such as tarte flambée or quiche. Served at 6–8 °C, it is particularly lively and aromatic.
