The North British Distillery, founded in Edinburgh in 1885, is one of the oldest active grain distilleries in Scotland and is known for its elegant, slightly sweet grain style. The maturation in a selected cask gives this whisky a pleasant depth and a surprisingly complex flavour profile, which shows how high-quality and exciting single grain whiskies can be.

Tasting Note

Colour: Light gold with a slight copper sheen.

Nose: Sweet and fragrant with vanilla, caramel, cream toffee, light-coloured fruit and a hint of coconut.

Flavour: Smooth and creamy with notes of honey, cereals, vanilla pudding, cinnamon and butterscotch.

Finish: Medium length, round and slightly spicy with a fine sweetness, dark chocolate and cereal notes.
