The Inführ Sekt Brut Excellent is a particularly refined, single-varietal sparkling wine made from 100 % Grüner Veltliner, which embodies the very best of the Weinviertel. The base wine comes predominantly from loess soils in the north-eastern part of the Weinviertel, a region renowned for its fruit-forward white wines and its cellar tunnels dug deep into the earth. These natural cellars provide ideal conditions for the maturation of the base wines and lend the finished sparkling wine its fine structure and balance.

The presentation reflects the high standards: an extra-dark bottle protects the contents from light and preserves the fresh bouquet, whilst the gold-embossed label conveys a sense of elegance and exclusivity. The second fermentation takes place using the Charmat method to bring out the Grüner Veltliner’s characteristic fruity and spicy notes to the full.

Tasting Note

In the glass, the sparkling wine displays a pale straw-yellow colour with a finely sparkling, lively mousse. The nose is characterised by juicy apple, pineapple and a hint of white blossoms. Typical of Grüner Veltliner, a subtle peppery note is present in the background. On the palate, it is delicate and fragrant, with a dry, balanced profile, elegant freshness and a mineral finish. The bouquet unfolds best in a tulip-shaped champagne glass.

This sparkling wine is perfect as a stylish aperitif, but also pairs superbly with cold starters, fish dishes, seafood or vegetarian cuisine featuring fresh herbs. Thanks to its freshness and spice, it also harmonises well with Asian-inspired dishes or finger food at festive occasions. Best served well chilled below 6°C and enjoyed whilst still young to experience the full intensity of its fruity aroma. An elegant sparkling wine for connoisseurs with high standards.
