The AI GALLI Pinot Grigio DOC 2024 is a pure white wine made from 100% Pinot Grigio, which expresses its origin from the renowned Pramaggiore area in eastern Veneto with typical finesse and freshness. The grapes come from AI GALLI's own vineyards, which thrive on medium-density, clayey soils - a soil structure that is ideal for elegant, structured white wines with clear fruit and mineral freshness.

Vinification follows the classic white wine production method. The grapes are gently pressed and the must is immediately separated from the skins to avoid unwanted amber colouring - typical of the Pinot Grigio grape. Temperature-controlled fermentation at 18-20 °C lasts around ten days and takes place on carefully selected yeasts. The wine then matures for several months on the fine lees in stainless steel tanks before being bottled. A two-month bottle maturation provides additional rounding off.

With an alcohol content of 12% vol., this DOC wine from the Veneto region of northern Italy is a balanced, aromatic and versatile white wine that impresses with its clarity and drinkability.

Tasting Note

In the glass, the Pinot Grigio has a bright straw-yellow colour. The nose reveals clear, floral aromas, accompanied by classic notes of ripe pear and apple. Fresh, dry and balanced on the palate with lively acidity, elegant structure and a clear, fruity finish. A Pinot Grigio with a classic profile that impresses with its authenticity and balance.

This wine is ideal with fish salads, light starters with seafood, boiled fish, but also with white meat such as chicken or veal.
