The AI GALLI Merlot Rosé Frizzante is a finely sparkling rosé wine with a charming character and Italian lightness. Made from 100% Merlot, this frizzante comes from the eastern Veneto - a region known for its fruity, easy-drinking wines. The grapes are processed gently: After a short maceration on the skins of 12 to 24 hours to extract colour and aromas, temperature-controlled fermentation follows at 18-20 °C for ten days in stainless steel tanks. The wine is then fermented further in pressurised tanks using the Charmat method until the desired sparkling pressure is achieved. Fermentation is stopped by cold stabilisation at -4 °C to maintain freshness and clarity.

With an alcohol content of 11% by volume, a lively mousse and a fresh, youthful style, this rosé frizzante is the ideal companion for uncomplicated moments of enjoyment. The consumption temperature is 8-10 °C and it should be enjoyed young - the optimum storage time is 1 to 2 years.

Tasting Note

In the glass, the Merlot Rosé Frizzante has a delicate rosé colour with light violet reflections and a fine, lively perlage. The nose has aromas of red berries, raspberries and ripe cherries. On the palate, it is fresh, fruity and pleasantly dry, with well-integrated acidity, fine perlage and an invigoratingly juicy finish.

Residual sugar: 10-12 g/litre

This Rosé Frizzante is a perfect aperitif wine and is an excellent accompaniment to summer dishes, salads, Mediterranean antipasti or fish starters. It is also a refreshing accompaniment to fruity desserts or light dishes with fresh herbs. An ideal wine for garden parties, picnics or uncomplicated everyday moments.
