The ARLETT Original Single Malt Whisky is a handcrafted whisky speciality from Germany, more precisely from the heart of the Ruhr region. This single malt is produced by the Eicker & Callen distillery, which has been synonymous with quality and innovation for generations. With an alcohol content of 45% vol., classic maturation in selected oak casks and an elaborately designed gift box (UK), this whisky epitomises the art of German distilling with international appeal.
The ARLETT Original is characterised by a malt base made from 100% barley malt, which gives it a round, harmonious structure and fine roasted aromas. It is matured in ex-bourbon barrels, complemented by the selective use of European oak, which develops notes of vanilla, caramel, honey and fine spice. Chill filtration and colouring are deliberately avoided - for an authentic taste experience with depth and clarity.
This single malt is aimed at whisky connoisseurs who are looking for new ways off the classic Scottish or Irish paths, but do not want to compromise on quality and originality. The modern design rounds off the overall picture and makes ARLETT a flagship of German whisky tradition with an urban flair.
Tasting Note
Colour: Golden yellow with a warm amber sheen.
Nose: Mildly malty with vanilla, honey, light caramel and a fine woody note.
Flavour: Round and balanced with malt, vanilla, light oak, roasted nuts and a hint of toffee.
Finish: Medium-long, pleasantly spicy with a gentle sweetness and light roasted character.
Ideal neat in a tumbler or nosing glass, preferably at room temperature. Goes perfectly with mild cheese, roasted almonds or dark chocolate. Also an exciting accompaniment to apple pie or nut desserts. A German single malt with a regional identity and versatility - suitable for beginners and connoisseurs alike.
