The Pōkeno Origin Aotearoa New Zealand Single Malt Whisky (0.7 l) is produced by the Pōkeno Whisky Company, New Zealand’s largest single malt distillery. The distillery is situated in Pōkeno on the North Island, not far from the volcanic Bombay Hills, and utilises the unique climatic conditions and regional raw materials to create whiskies with a distinctive character.

Pōkeno Origin celebrates this distillery’s unique place in the world. Made from the finest local barley, it is fermented and distilled without haste to intensify its body and flavour. Maturation takes place exclusively in first-fill bourbon casks, giving the whisky a harmonious balance of sweetness, freshness and depth. The result is an incredibly smooth and rounded single malt with aromatic richness.

Its flavour profile captivates with wonderful notes of citrus, honey, grapefruit and creamy toffee, which give way to a complex, long-lasting finish. At 43% ABV, with no colouring added and presented in an elegant gift box, this whisky is a testament to the art of New Zealand distilling at its very best.
