The Pōkeno Origin Aotearoa New Zealand Single Malt Whisky Vol. 0.7 l is produced by the Pōkeno Whisky Company, the largest single malt distillery in New Zealand. The distillery is located in Pōkeno on the North Island, not far from the volcanic Bombay Hills, and utilises the unique climatic conditions and regional raw materials to create whiskies with an unmistakable character.

Pōkeno Origin celebrates this distillery's unique place in the world. Made from the best local barley, it is fermented and distilled without haste to intensify body and flavour. Maturation takes place exclusively in first-fill bourbon casks, giving the whisky a harmonious balance of sweetness, freshness and depth. The result is an incredibly smooth and round single malt with an aromatic fullness.

Its flavour profile impresses with beautiful notes of citrus fruit, honey, grapefruit and creamy toffee, which fade into a complex, long-lasting finish. At 43% vol., without colouring and presented in an elegant gift box, this whisky is an expression of New Zealand distillation at the highest level.

Tasting Note
