The Signatory Vintage 100 Proof Edition Miltonduff 14 Years Old, with an alcohol content of 57.1 per cent by volume and a volume of 0.7 litres, is an expressive single malt Scotch whisky from the historic Miltonduff Distillery in Speyside. The distillery is renowned for its smooth, fruity distillates with floral notes, which are predominantly used in blends such as Ballantine’s. Single malt bottlings from Miltonduff are comparatively rare, making this whisky particularly interesting for collectors and connoisseurs.

This whisky was distilled in 2011 and matured for 14 years in a single first-fill Oloroso sherry butt (Cask #54). Maturation in a fresh sherry cask lends it a deep, complex aroma with notes of dark fruits, sweet spices and refined oak. It is bottled in the 100 Proof Edition at a robust cask strength, uncoloured and non-chill-filtered, to fully preserve its natural character and cask notes.

Tasting Note

Colour: Deep copper with mahogany-coloured highlights.

Nose: Rich sherry sweetness with raisins, figs, ripe plums and candied orange peel, accompanied by dark chocolate, espresso and a hint of nuts.

Palate: Full-bodied, velvety and complex, with dried fruit, toffee, marzipan, spicy gingerbread, cinnamon and nutmeg, underpinned by subtle oak notes.

Finish: Lang, warming and harmonious, with lingering fruit sweetness, refined spices and a slight toasty bitterness.
