The Glen Moray Double Cask Sherry Cask Finish 40% vol. 0.7 l + GB is an elegant single malt Scotch whisky from the historic Glen Moray Distillery in Elgin, in the heart of Scotland’s Speyside region. Since 1897, the distillery has been renowned for its smooth, approachable whiskies, characterised by a high level of craftsmanship and a careful selection of casks. With the Double Cask series, Glen Moray presents bottlings that gain additional depth and complexity through secondary maturation in selected casks.


This Sherry Cask Finish was initially matured in classic American oak casks, which impart soft notes of vanilla and caramel, before receiving its finish in Oloroso sherry casks. This second maturation adds further complexity with sweet, fruity and slightly spicy flavours. Bottled at 40% ABV and presented in a gift box (UK), it is the perfect introduction to the world of sherry finishes and, at the same time, a stylish gift for whisky enthusiasts.

Tasting Note

Colour: Gold with reddish-brown highlights.

Nose: Sweet sherry notes, red fruits, honey and a hint of oak.

Palate: Smooth, harmonious and round with vanilla, dried fruit, toffee and sherry sweetness.

Finish: Medium-length, smooth and slightly spicy with a fruity aftertaste.

The Glen Moray Double Cask Sherry Cask Finish is ideal for enjoying neat, to experience its balanced flavours in all their depth. Served on the rocks or with a few drops of water, additional nuances unfold. Culinary pairings include desserts such as apple pie, chocolate tart or crème brûlée.
