Balvenie 12 Years Old Double Wood 40% vol. 0.05 l in a gift box online kaufen

The Balvenie 12 Years Old Double Wood 40% vol. 0.05 l is the miniature edition of one of the best-known single malt Scotch whiskies from the renowned Balvenie Distillery in Dufftown, Speyside. Since 1892, the distillery has been synonymous with traditional craftsmanship, its own malting floors and whisky production characterised by the utmost care. With the Double Wood, Balvenie has created a bottling that acquires a particularly complex character through maturation in two different types of cask.

The whisky was first matured for many years in classic ex-bourbon casks made of American oak, which impart notes of vanilla and honey. This was followed by a secondary maturation in European sherry casks, giving it additional depth, spice and fruity nuances. At 12 years old, it ranks among the distillery’s classics and is an outstanding whisky for connoisseurs and newcomers alike. The small 0.05-litre bottle is ideal as a taster size, for collectors or as an elegant gift at whisky tastings.
