The Douglas Laing The Epicurean We Love Art Edition Lowland Blended Malt 55.5% vol. 0.7 l is a limited-edition special release from the popular Epicurean range, which captures the light, elegant whisky style of the Scottish Lowlands. It is bottled by the independent family-run company Douglas Laing & Co., which has been synonymous with high-quality, authentic whiskies – unchill-filtered and free from colouring – since 1948.


For this special edition, only malt whiskies from the Lowlands have been blended and bottled at a robust 55.5% vol. in cask strength. By foregoing chill filtration, the whisky’s full character is preserved: fresh, lively and yet complex. The “We Love Art Edition” also features an artistically designed bottle that underlines the creative ambition of this limited-edition release.

Tasting Note

Colour: Pale gold.

Nose: Fresh and lively with citrus, green apple, herbs and sweet malt.

Palate: Powerful, malty and elegant with notes of grain, vanilla, citrus and floral accents.

Finish: Long-lasting, fresh and spicy with a delicate sweetness.
