The Akashi Takumi Sherry Cask Finish Japanese Blended Whisky 40% Vol. 0.5 l + GB comes from the traditional Eigashima Shuzo Distillery, also known as the White Oak Distillery, which is based in the Japanese town of Akashi. The distillery has been producing whisky since the early 20th century, combining Japanese precision with a clear focus on barrel management and balanced flavours.


Akashi Takumi is a fine blended whisky that is characterised by its special post-maturing process. After the basic maturation, it is given a finish in selected sherry casks, which gives it additional depth, fruity sweetness and an elegant spiciness. With an alcohol content of 40% by volume, it is pleasantly mild and round, but remains complex and multi-layered thanks to the sherry influences.
