The Cihuatán VIENTO Rum Limited Edition 43.5% ABV 0.7 l + gift box is the latest rare release from the up-and-coming rum brand from El Salvador, limited to just 9,842 bottles worldwide. Inspired by the legend of the Mayan god Ehécatl, the god of the wind, this rum embodies the power, lightness and movement of the wind in a unique interplay of aromas.


Only the finest rum has been used for this strictly limited edition, which has been allowed to mature for a total of 15 years: initially 13 years in ex-bourbon casks, before being refined for a further two years in a special warehouse with a unique microclimate. This special ageing process defines the complex character of Cihuatán Viento and makes it a meisterwerk of Salvadoran rum-making. Each bottle is hand-numbered and presented in a high-quality gift box.

Tasting Note

Colour: Golden amber with luminous highlights.

Nose: Complex and elegant, with fruity notes of orange peel and pineapple, accompanied by spicy warmth and balsamic undertones.

Palate: Full-bodied and harmonious, with flavours of speculoos, orange marmalade, caramelised pineapple and a hint of balsamic cream. The texture is smooth, round and exceptionally well-balanced.

Finish: Lang, complex and smooth, with a blend of fruit, spice and delicate sweetness.

The Cihuatán Viento reveals its sophistication when enjoyed neat at room temperature or on the rocks, and is a true treat for rum connoisseurs.
