The Pura Vida Añejo Single Estate Rum 37.5% vol. 0.7 l is a blended rum from Costa Rica full of character that reflects the craftsmanship and passion of its origin in perfect form. Made from a combination of sugar cane juice, sugar cane honey and molasses rums, this rum unites the diversity of the sugar cane base to create a harmonious overall picture. Distillation is carried out particularly gently using the pot still method, resulting in a round, smooth and aromatically deep distillate. The rum then matures under tropical conditions in oak barrels and receives its special finish in former Oloroso sherry casks, which gives it an elegant depth and a fine interplay of flavours.


The Pura Vida Añejo presents itself as a brown rum with a wonderfully balanced structure characterised by a gentle sweetness, subtle wood notes and a hint of sherry.
