The tropical conditions in Taiwan ensure rapid and intense maturation, during which the flavours penetrate deep into the wood, creating an exceptional concentration. Tasting Note

Colour: Dark amber.

Nose: Peach, passion fruit and mango, complemented by vanilla, toffee, spices and a subtle hint of honey.

Palate: Round and smooth, fruity and harmonious, with a complex finish of subtle lychee.

Finish: Long-lasting, warm, fruity and well-balanced.

This Kavalan Solist Brandy Cask pairs superbly with fruity desserts such as peach crumble, mango mousse or passion fruit panna cotta, as the sweet, fresh notes elegantly complement the cask aromas. It also pairs equally well with mild cheeses such as Brie or Tomme, whose creamy texture rounds off the fruit’s intensity.
