Spišská Borovička 38% vol. 0.7 l is a traditional Slovak juniper-based spirit that has been an integral part of the region’s drinking culture for centuries. It originates from the Spiš region in eastern Slovakia, which is renowned for its rich distilling tradition and the production of distinctive spirits.


Borovička is regarded as one of Slovakia’s national spirits and, in terms of flavour, can be compared to gin or juniper schnapps, though it differs in its exceptional clarity and the intense emphasis on the juniper berry. To produce it, ripe juniper berries are carefully macerated and distilled. With an alcohol content of 38 % vol., Spišská Borovička boasts a robust yet harmonious aroma, making it a popular classic.
