Sauza Hacienda Tequila Reposado Agave Azul is an authentic Mexican tequila from the historic Casa Sauza in Tequila, Jalisco, the heart of tequila production. Since 1873, Casa Sauza has stood for the highest quality, innovation and genuine Mexican craftsmanship. This Reposado variant embodies the perfect balance between freshness, agave sweetness and the gentle spice of barrel ageing – a tequila that harmoniously combines tradition and modernity.


Sauza Hacienda Reposado is made from 100 per cent blue Weber agave (Agave Tequilana Weber Azul), which thrives in the mineral-rich soils of Jalisco. After harvesting, the agave hearts are gently cooked, fermented and double-distilled. The tequila is then aged for several months in oak casks, during which time it develops its golden colour and the characteristic aromas of vanilla, caramel and oak. This barrel ageing gives it its smooth, rounded character and makes it an ideal tequila both for drinking neat and for classic cocktails.


At 35 % ABV, Sauza Hacienda Reposado offers a mild, harmonious flavour profile with a delicate sweetness and subtle spiciness – typical of the Casa Sauza style.

Tasting Note

Colour: Pale gold with warm highlights.

Nose: Pleasantly mellow with notes of ripe agave, vanilla, honey and a hint of wood.

Palate: Smooth, round and well-balanced with sweet agave, oak, caramel and a hint of pepper.

Finish: Smooth, warm and of medium length, with a delicate hint of vanilla and subtle spice.

Sauza Hacienda Tequila Reposado is excellent enjoyed neat at room temperature or slightly chilled. It is equally perfect as a base for cocktails such as the Tequila Old Fashioned, Reposado Margarita or Tequila Sour.
