19 Crimes The Banished Dark Red 13.5% ABV 0.75l online kaufen

The 19 Crimes The Banished Dark Red is an intense yet approachable Australian red wine that bears the unmistakable signature of the cult brand 19 Crimes. Inspired by the 19 offences that led to the deportation of British convicts to Australia in the 18th and 19th centuries, this wine also tells its very own story, combining history with modern wine enjoyment.

The cuvée is made from the classic grape varieties Shiraz, Cabernet Sauvignon and Grenache, which find ideal ripening conditions in Australia’s warm climate. The grapes are carefully processed to perfectly preserve the robust fruit, ripe tannins and spicy notes. With an alcohol content of 13.5% vol., The Banished Dark Red is lighter in alcohol than many other Australian red wines, yet remains full-bodied, fruit-driven and intense.

Tasting Note

In the glass, 19 Crimes The Banished displays a dark ruby red colour with violet highlights. On the nose, powerful aromas of ripe blackberries, black cherries and plums unfold, accompanied by notes of chocolate, vanilla and sweet spices. On the palate, it is velvety and full-bodied, with ripe tannins, juicy fruit and a long, powerful finish that elegantly brings out its dark aromas.

This red wine, made from Shiraz, Cabernet Sauvignon and Grenache, is an ideal accompaniment to hearty meat dishes such as barbecues, steaks, lamb or game. It also pairs superbly with spicy pasta dishes and mature cheeses. Served at 16–18 °C, it reveals its full character and is perfect for both social evenings and special occasions.
