Helbing Kümmelschnaps is a traditional Hamburg spirit and is regarded as one of Germany’s best-known caraway liqueurs. With an alcohol content of 32% vol. and bottled in a 0.7-litre bottle, it embodies over 180 years of North German distilling tradition. The Helbing brand, founded in 1836 by Johann Peter Hinrich Helbing, remains closely linked to the Hanseatic city of Hamburg to this day and stands for authenticity, quality and North German drinking culture.


It is produced using caraway seeds, whose spicy, herbaceous aroma defines the unmistakable character of Helbing caraway schnapps. Combined with a subtle sweetness and delicate smoothness, the result is a clear, aromatic spirit that is equally impressive when enjoyed neat or in mixed drinks.
