Made from 100% Sangiovese Grosso (Brunello), this Brunello combines power, structure and elegance at the highest level. The grapes come from the best vineyards in the Caparzo vineyards, which grow on limestone and clay-rich soils with optimal drainage, giving the wine a fine minerality and complex flavour.


After careful, selective hand-picking, the wine is vinified traditionally in stainless steel tanks, followed by extensive ageing in large French oak barrels, which gives the wine depth, soft tannins and a velvety structure. At 14% vol., the Caparzo Brunello di Montalcino 2020 is powerful, full-bodied and yet elegant, with a harmonious balance between ripe fruit, fine acidity and complex spicy notes.
