This exceptional rum was distilled in 2017 and bottled in 2025, with production limited to just 646 bottles worldwide. It comes from casks No. 291 and 292 and was bottled at cask strength at 55.4% vol. – naturally, it is non-chill-filtered and contains no added colourings, to fully preserve its natural character.


The rum was initially matured for five years under tropical conditions in ex-Cognac casks, before being refined for a further two years in Oloroso sherry casks. This combination of a fruity, spicy maturation and a sherry-driven finish lends the rum its exceptional depth, complexity and a fascinating balance between power and elegance. Rum Nation Marie Galante 2017/2025 is a lively yet finely structured rum that bears the unmistakable signature of the French Caribbean island of Guadeloupe – shaped by sugar cane, sun, sea and time.
