This limited edition is presented at natural cask strength, at 53.9% ABV, and embodies the raw power, intensity and maritime spirit of the island. Following an initial maturation in ex-bourbon casks, this whisky underwent an innovative finish in new American oak casks, which were toasted using radiant heat from volcanic rock sourced from Skye. This rare process lends the whisky an extraordinary depth that impressively highlights the characteristic Talisker notes of salt, smoke and spice.
