It is produced by the Glendalough Distillery, named after the famous Valley of the Two Lakes in the Wicklow Mountains, south of Dublin. The distillery is one of the pioneers of the new generation of Irish craft distilleries and places particular emphasis on regional ingredients, traditional production methods and careful cask selection. As is typical of a single pot still whisky, this whisky is made from a combination of malted and unmalted barley and triple-distilled in traditional copper stills.
