The Collazzi Libertà Toscana IGT 2023 is an Italian red wine from Tuscany with a strong character that interprets the elegance and finesse of this renowned wine region in a modern way. It is produced at the historic Tenuta di Collazzi winery near Impruneta, close to Florence - a property owned by the Marchi family, which stands for the highest quality and authentic wine culture. The name "Libertà" symbolises the cuvée's freedom to combine the best of different grape varieties to create a wine that is both typically Tuscan and internationally inspired.


The cuvée is made from Merlot, Syrah and Sangiovese. The grapes come from the sun-drenched hills of the Collazzi vineyards, where calcareous clay soils and a Mediterranean climate ensure optimal ripening conditions. After gentle manual harvesting, temperature-controlled fermentation takes place, followed by ageing in French barriques, which give the wine structure, depth and elegance. With an alcohol content of 13.5% vol., Collazzi Libertà 2023 is a wine with a remarkable balance between fruit, flavour and a gentle tannin structure - a true expression of modern Tuscan winemaking.

Tasting Note

The Collazzi Libertà Toscana IGT 2023 has an intense ruby red colour with purple reflections in the glass. The nose reveals aromas of ripe red fruit, cherries and plums, accompanied by notes of black pepper, violets and delicate vanilla. On the palate, it is soft, full-bodied and harmonious, with juicy fruit, fine spice and supple tannins. The finish is elegant, round and pleasantly long.

This Tuscan red wine is a versatile accompaniment to Mediterranean dishes, pasta with meat sauces, grilled lamb, beef or mature cheese. It also reveals its full complexity with autumnal dishes with mushrooms or game. Served at 16-18 °C, Libertà 2023 is at its best - elegant, aromatic and perfectly balanced.
