The Eichenwald DIE ZEITREISE Cuvée 2021 is a fascinating red wine from Burgenland that combines past and present in one glass. This noble composition of Blaufränkisch, Zweigelt and Cabernet Sauvignon combines the best of three worlds: Austrian fruit fullness, classic structure and international elegance. The warm, Pannonian climate of the region ensures optimal ripening conditions, while the mineral soils give the grapes depth and character. The wine is matured partly in large wooden barrels and partly in used barriques, which gives the wine complexity and gentle maturity without overpowering the fruit. This careful vinification preserves the independence of the cuvée and allows the individual grape varieties to harmonise with each other. The result is a wine with a clear structure, smooth texture and an elegant, multi-layered interplay of flavours. In the magnum bottle (1.5 litres), DIE ZEITREISE is a real collector's item - ideal for special moments and festive occasions. Tasting Note

The Eichenwald DIE ZEITREISE Cuvée 2021 has a dark colour with violet reflections in the glass. The nose reveals a full-bodied, aromatic fruit of plum, blackberry and a hint of persimmon, accompanied by subtle spicy notes. On the palate, the cuvée presents itself with dark fruit, elegant tannins and a delicate acid backbone that gives the wine vibrancy and structure. The balance between fruit and spice is masterful - the wine is dense, precise and long-lasting on the Langs. A red wine with depth, character and impressive harmony.
