A total of 13 botanicals are used for the Drumshanbo Gunpowder Irish Gin with California Orange Citrus. In addition to the intense freshness of California orange citrus, exotic ingredients such as Chinese lime, grapefruit, kaffir lime and the eponymous Chinese gunpowder tea create a complex and fresh interplay of flavours. The gunpowder tea adds slightly smoky and peppery nuances and gives this Irish premium gin its unmistakable character. The botanicals are slowly distilled in medieval copper stills, with selected ingredients being further refined in the infusion basket. With an alcohol content of 43%, this gin is fresh, flavoursome and intensely aromatic.
